Sajid Nadiadwala Injures Back, Advised Bed Rest

Sajid Nadiadwala is going through a tough phase on the health front. Apparently, Sajid is nursing a back injury. Sajid injured his back recently while going overboard at one of his gym training session, which is causing him trouble to even walk or drive.

Sajid revealed that he injured his back because of his gym workout schedule and has been advised complete bed rest by the doctors for a period of 14 days.

The workaholic director showed his sense of dedication towards his upcoming film ‘Kick’ (starring Salman Khan) by travelling from his Andheri residence to Karjat based sets, in a vanity van instead of a car, in order to reduce the pain.

Ajay Devgn And Prakash Jha Join Hands For ‘GANGAAJAL’ Prequel

News is doing the rounds that a prequel to the hit movie ‘Gangaajal’ is being planned. Maven filmmaker Prakash Jha and skilful actor Ajay Devgn, who came together around a decade back for the action drama flick, are looking to make a comeback with a prequel.

Gangaajal, a powerful drama revolving around the Bhagalpur blinding incidents, was declared above average at Indian box-office.

Sources suggest that it was while working on ‘Satyagraha’, Jha conveyed his idea of making a prequel to ‘Gangaajal.’

A source close to the filmmaker revealed - "During the making of Satyagraha, Prakash Jha had discussed the idea of a prequel with Ajay Devgn. He loved the concept and told him to go ahead with it, and Jha told his team of writers to start working on the script. Ajay is currently busy with Prabhudeva's ‘Action Jackson’ but he is in touch with Jha about the developments in the script."

Devgn and Jha have worked together earlier in films like ‘Raajneeti’ and ‘Apaharan’.

SRK In Talks With Maneesh Sharma Over A Film Script

Shah Rukh Khan has hoards of offers coming his way after the stupendous performance of ‘Chennai Express’ at the box office. As per the reports, the ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ director, Maneesh Sharma, is believed to have approached Shah Rukh over a film script and has already had a few rounds of meeting with the superstar.

It is learnt that SRK has shown keen interest in the offer and the chances of the project coming under the production banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, are pretty high.

Confirming the news, a close source revealed – “Shah Rukh spends 7-8 days to go through a script by doing a detailed interaction with the director. Sharma too got ample of time with the actor while narrating the script. Shah Rukh hasn't taken a call yet but he is interested to do the film. If all goes as per planned, Sharma's this film will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment."

SRK has signed many projects off late. Hence, it might be a long wait for Maneesh Sharma, before his film goes on floors.

WAR CHHOD NA YAAR Drops Big On Monday




"War Chhod Na Yaar" released with limited expectation but due to zero competition and interesting promo, film had chance at box office but film failed miserably.


Film collected poor 4.50 cr nett over the weekend and now film has no chance of recovery after a drop on Monday. Film collected only 65-70 lakhs on Monday taking 4 day total to 5.15 cr nett. Film will collect 5.70 cr nett by end of today and tomorrow release of "Boss" will cut short its run.


Film will finish with 6-6.5 cr nett lifetime as it will lose many screens in 2nd week.

GRAVITY Dominates Indian Box Office Over Weekend




"Gravity" has proven once again that in absence of quality product from Bollywood, Indian box office accepts big Hollywood films with open arms. Film has simply blown away competition from desi films.


Film collected amazing 2 cr on Friday, 2.75 cr on Saturday and 3.25 cr on Sunday taking weekend gross to 8 cr approximate. Film has collected further 1.25 cr on Monday taking 4 day total to 9.25 cr. Film will finish with 12-12.50 cr. Film has defeated new releases "War Chhod Na Yaar" and "Baat Ban Gayi" with big margins.


Film will finish with 15-18 cr lifetime as it will lose many screens in 2nd week.
