Insiders Views On JAB TAK HAI JAAN & SON OF SARDAAR
As the D day is approaching, audience and media getting anxious.
There were websites and part of media who went ahead and published the reviews
of JTHJ when even the print was not out of the lab. We checked with studio and
our sources about authenticity of reviews which appeared in one of the leading
film rating website. But all were just plain rumors.
Despite huge demand from your side to write something on the
topic, we waited patiently until we really got some info from sources. SOS had
couple of private screenings and will have 3-4 screenings starting from 8th
November. JTHJ had a private screening couple of days back and will have grand
premiere on 12th. Here is all in form of concise information about
the films and remember this is not a review.
SON OF
SRADAAR:
Film got grand opening with real interesting fight sequence inside
first 10-15 minutes.
Film has full on massy music and on screen “Po Po” and Title Song
taken the cake.
Film’s high point is climax with some breathtaking action by Ajay.
Surprisingly film doesn’t offer too much comedy and it is a
balance mixture of action, comedy, romance and drama.
Film has sufficient dose of entertainment in 1st half
but 2nd half drags at places.
Film lacks any novelty factor and that is the only big letdown.
Film will do good biz in mass centers and will surprise many who
are not giving this film much chance at box office in comparison to other
biggie. Word of mouth will play crucial role in the success of the film.
JAB TAK HAI
JAAN:
Film has typical breathtaking locales and some real romantic
moments in the beginning of 2nd half.
Film has real interesting storyline and that is the USP of the
film. Few twists every now and then will keep audience hooked. Typical Yash ji
brand of surprises will make you smile.
Some real great cameos from Rishi Kapoor, Neetu and other supporting
artistes take the film to higher levels.
After initial half an hour, the 2nd part of 1st
half and last half an hour are simply rocking.
This is by far one of the best performances of Shahrukh as
romantic lead as his role demands a fair mixture of intensity, passion, charm
and charisma (watch out for scene where SRK meets Katrina on top of bridge or
where Katrina confesses her love).
Film’s long duration and couple of flashbacks might deter few
sections of audience.
Film is an epic romantic saga and its size of success will depend
entirely on repeat audience.
Note: Watch out tomorrow for final predictions for
SOS followed by day after for JTHJ .
